FITFEM
FITFEM is the original style of the method. These classes are perfect for when you feel like a fast paced, exciting fun bodyweight workout.
The FITFEM classes build cardiovascular and muscular resistance using high repetitions, cardio dance, and sequencing. The exercises are sequenced so the same muscle groups are stacked and worked repeatedly.
Some of these classes mix in dance moves from different styles for you to incorporate more movements into your muscle memory and work smaller muscles.
Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginner Bundles Available! If you start a class and find it too challenging, you can still enjoy and finish it by slowing down the movements. Classes are in random sequence so choose anyone to start with and always remember: Work hard and have fun!

FITCHAIR
FITCHAIR is fun and intense! These workouts are taken to the next level by the use of the chair: The distance from the ground that one must overcome to get on the chair really challenges the muscles and heart.
The FITCHAIR collection is sequenced so you start with lighter classes (1-4) where there are few moves where you actually get on the chair, and you end with high intensity classes (5-8).
FITFEM Deep
Deep classes focus on muscular strength, increasing mobility in the joints, flexibility in the legs and lower back, and they have a strong balance component.
Ankle weights are option and highly recommended.
Deep classes do not incorporate any cardio dance or dance moves. The movements are mostly done on the floor with few standing exercises.
These classes are in a collection ranging from least to most difficultly in terms of coordination and balance.
FITSET
FITSETS main objective is fat loss and it's effectiveness relative to time. These classes are only half hour workouts and are made up of compound standing movements using hand and (optional) ankle weights.
The classes are in random sequence, so you can choose any one to start with!
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the method based on?
The method is my original work that combines different disciplines to get maximum results with maximum enjoyment. The method uses high repetition, compound exercises with little rest in between to increase metabolic rate during and after the workout. Dancer training and pilates based exercises are incorporated to work muscles over all angles. During the workout mobility and balance are targeted, and flexibility is developed through dynamic flexibility exercises. Some classes incorporate dance moves so as to work the smaller muscles used in dissociation movements that are key to dancing.
Do I have to have any experience in dance?
You do not need any dance experience. These are not dance classes. FITFEM often uses dance based movements and dancer training exercises to work muscles in a specific way.
How often should I be doing the FITFEM method?
You can workout with FITFEM as often as you like, as long as you leave enough time between workouts for your muscles and mind to recover properly. This is different for each person and also dependent on the speed (and thus, number of reps) with which you perform classes, how much weight (if any) you use, and with what level of intensity you perform the moves. Check your energy levels when showing up for the next class, they are a good indication of enough rest.
Why is there no vocal indication during the classes? (why does ile not speak?)
FITFEM is about getting out of the mind and into the body. It is for this reason that the method does not use audio cues that involve spoken language. You will hear a bell to indicate you to move on to the next exercise.
How can I choose which class to start with?
The best is to choose based on your personal preferences and materials you have at hand. If you like high intensity, faster workouts with no weights, a medium or high intensity FITFEM class or a FITCHAIR class would be best suited. If you prefer workouts with less impact and intense cardio training, that focus more on muscular strength and going at your own pace, FITFEM Deep and FITSET classes are for you.
What if I don't have equipment a class requires?
You can still get a great workout from FITSET and Deep Classes without using weights, just increase your speed (and thus, repetitions)!
FITCHAIR classes require a chair with no arm rests, or you can use a plyometric box.
What if this is my first time working out?
For this and any other fitness program, it is best to get a medical lease to begin training for the first time. Start with FITFEM begin classes and FITSET using no or light weights and always at your own pace. Remember that even though some classes follow the beat of the music, all classes can be done at your own pace.
